Dear Aunty Barbara, I have wonderful memories of staying with you when we were kids. You’d take in Wendy and I when our Mum wasn’t well which mean’t you’d be feeding and entertaining five kids in the school holidays. You did this with kindness and humour, keeping us well fed and under control and laughing as we all waited, full of naughtiness and cheek, to see how the porridge would turn out. In later years your kindness showed itself as you called my Dad everyday after my Mum died. He already misses those calls. We’ve already lit a candle for you in Australia and will do so again tomorrow. Lots of love to Uncle Ray, Alison, Jackie and Stuart. Rest In Peace Aunty Barbara. Xx
